1st day – First stage: Catania

Arriving at the airport of Catania, withdrawal car rental and transfer to a hotel in the historic center.
Dinner at the hotel or in a Sicilian restaurant. We recommend to taste: “granite”, Sicilian Arancino, the almond paste, ice cream and cakes, fish with a good white wine.

2nd day – Second stage: Siracusa
|
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the nearby Siracusa, accommodation and dinner at the hotel. We recommend to taste: tuna with onion, “lampuga” fried in the vinegar, steaks “matalotta”, pastry of Siracusa is characterized by honey and almonds.

3rd day – Third stage: Caltagirone
|
Breakfast at the hotel. The tour continues in the beautiful Caltagirone, a famous city for the production of ceramics. Lunch in a restaurant and accommodation in a farmhouse. We recommend to taste: pasta 'cu maccu (puree of beans), piruna (calzone stuffed with spinach and vegetables).

4th day – Fourth stage: Agrigento
|
Breakfast at the farmhouse, and then the tour continues toward the city of Agrigento and here you can visit the picturesque Valley of the Temples with its ruins. Transfer to a farmhouse near Agrigento, dinner with tasting of typical wines. We recommend to taste: veal with pitaggio, cavateddi and broccoli arriminati.

5th day – Fifth stage: Marsala
|
Breakfast at the farmhouse, then the tour continues towards the western Sicily. We recommend a visit to Selinunte, the largest Archaeological Park in Europe. Transfer to Marsala, known for producing the Marsala’s wine. Accomodation in a farmhouse and dinner with tasting of local wines. We recommend to taste: the “cous cous” imported from the nearby Tunisia, and tunnina 'ca cipuddata.

6th day – Sixth stage: Palermo
|
Breakfast at the farmhouse, then the tour continues to Palermo. During the trip we recommend a visit of the picturesque medieval towns of Erice and Segesta. Accommodation and dinner in a farmhouse or restaurant in Palermo. We recommend to taste: in Erice the sweet and almond paste, in Palermo bread and cake, pasta with sardines, and u sfinciuni that is similar to Neapolitan pizza.

7th day – Seventh stage: Palermo
|
Breakfast at the farmhouse. We suggest you to spend the entire day to visit this city, developed at the feet of Monte Pellegrino. For the lovers of sweet a visit to the ancient San Francesco “focacceria” is a must, it offers flavours and recipes in the historic heart of the old Palermo.

8th day – Eighth stage: Etna-Taormina
|
Breakfast at hotel and the tour continues towards the north-eastern Sicily. Accomodation in a farmhouse situated at the feet of Etna. Dinner in farmhouse based on local products and wines.

9th day - Ninth stage: Etna-Taormina
|
Breakfast at the farmhouse. In the morning we recommend an excursion of Etna, the most famous and highest active volcano in Europe. It will be inevitable a visit of Taormina, a wonderful city known throughout the world, located on a terrace on the Ionian coast at the feet of Mount Tauro.

10th day – Tenth stage
|
Breakfast at the farmhouse. Transfer to airport and return of the hired car.
