The Hotel
The Hotel Airone is situated at Zafferana Etnea, a charming town at the feet of Etna which is known for its locally produced honey and “Octoberfest” (autumn festival).
The hotel, recently restructured, is a cosy, elegant and hospitable place today, perfectly combined with the nature surrounding it. An inviting swimming pool in a green park faces the sea coast panorama from one side and a lava “river” of one of the latest eruptions from the other side.
It is an ideal place to regain peace and harmony.
Rooms
The hotel has 62 guestrooms (Standard Rooms, Superior Rooms, Junior and Senior Suites).
All rooms have a private bathroom, direct telephone, satellite TV, terrace, mini bar, safe box, air conditioner and tea facilities. Each room is different from the other and has its own exclusive furniture and colouring.
All rooms have either a balcony or a terrace, from where one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole Ionic coast of the island. Some of the rooms are situated in a dependence, offering the same comfort and facilities of the main building rooms.
Beautiful balconies of the dependence face a green field with a patio, all covered by glicine flowers. The dependence has been constructed using a traditional Sicilian building technique: lavic stones and hand-made ceramics.

A park of secular trees lies around Hotel Airone. midst of these trees there is a swimming pool with a panoramic view where you can enjoy the moments of serenity and relax.
A glass-walled Gazebo near the swimming pool offers delicious dishes. An antique amphitheatre can be used for performances.

Hotel Airone cuisine uses genuine products, used to prepare antique Sicilian and international recepies.
The restaurant has 300 places and faces a wonderful view of the coast. Zeffirelli room can hold up to 100 people. Gazebo up to 140 people. Michelangelo room up to 300 people.
Wellness Centre:
Hotel Airone has a well-furnished beauty centre, access to which is included into some special offers of the hotel. The centre offers Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, relax shower, kneipp, fitness centre, solarium, massage, aromatherapy and cromotherapy to its clients.
